April is National Autism Awareness Month! Join Judson Center as we Bring Autism to Light

On Monday, April 2nd, Judson Center and our partners, City of Royal Oak and English Gardens are honored to be kicking off National Autism Awareness Month with a blue tree lighting ceremony, Autism2Light, in downtown Royal Oak.  Join us for this family friendly event from 6-7pm on 5th Avenue and Washington Avenue (near HopCat).  Enjoy food, fun and the opportunity to pick up a free LED blue lightbulb (official color for autism awareness) for your home.  Together, we Bring Autism to Light!


There are many ways you can help raise awareness and Bring Autism to Light:

  Pick-up a free LED blue lightbulb for your porch from any of the following locations:  Judson Center (Royal Oak), The Royal Oak Public Library or any of the three Royal Oak fire stations beginning, March 15th

  Shine your house or place of business blue for autism awareness throughout April

  Share photos on social media using #autism2light

  Make a donation  today to support Autism Connections.       

  Download and print a brochure or poster to help promote autism awareness.                     

 Attend the Autism2Light ceremony in downtown  Royal Oak on Monday, April 2 at 6pm.  The one hour ceremony will take place on 5th Avenue and  Washington Avenue. Join us as we flip the switch and go blue for the month.  This is a family friendly event and the community is invited.  We will have refreshments, information about autism and the opportunity to pick up your free LED blue lightbulb.
