Judson Center's Macomb Respite Home provides short-term relief for parents of children with autism and other developmental challenges. Located in New Baltimore, Macomb Respite Home is a four-bed home for children 6-17 years of age who are medically fragile or have a developmental disability - including autism, mental illness and mental impairments. Families are referred to Judson Center's Macomb Respite Home by the Macomb County Community Mental Health Authority.
Children can stay at the home up to 29 days at a time. The Macomb County Community Mental Health case manager for the home schedules children for their stays. Judson Center staffs the home 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
