The Judson Center Intensive In-Home Treatment Program is a six-month home-based family therapy program referred by Macomb County Community Mental Health (MCCMH). Services are provided to families with children (4-17) who suffer from a severe mental illness or emotional impairment which could place the child at risk for an out-of-home placement such as a psychiatric hospital or residential facility. The services are provided in a family-centered team approach model consisting of the family, master’s level therapist, bachelor’s level case manager, and psychiatrist, working in collaboration with outside providers such as the school, legal system, and primary care physician.
