JUDSON CENTER’S ANNUAL “A NIGHT TO EMBRACE” GALA FUNDRAISER TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 7TH
Event supports life-changing programs for children, families and adults
Farmington Hills, MI – Judson Center will host a night of food, fun and entertainment at the human service agency’s “A Night to Embrace” Gala on Friday, November 7th from 5:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at The Henry, 300 Town Center Drive in Dearborn.
The annual gala raises money for Judson Center’s programs for children, adults and families in autism, behavioral and primary healthcare, disabilities services, foster care, adoption, and mentoring.
“This is our largest fundraising event of the year,” said Judson Center President & CEO Lenora Hardy-Foster. “Our 2025 theme is ‘Compassion is Timeless,’ which illustrates the unwavering care Judson Center has provided in the community over the past 101 years. We have grown to serve more than 13,000 children, adults and families each year at locations in six counties. Everyone who attends the gala will share in our legacy and mission.”
This year’s event is presented by LoVasco Consulting Group, and the Gala Chair is the company’s president, Gene LoVasco. CBS News Detroit Anchor Sandra Ali is the emcee for the evening.
A special Art of Care Award will be presented to Andrew Stein, president & CEO of the Children’s Foundation, for supporting Judson Center’s work empowering children and families. The Children’s Foundation, in partnership with Bill and Lisa Ford, is leading and facilitating the Michigan Central Station Children’s Endowment Initiative. Judson Center is among the 11 youth-serving organizations in the initiative.
The evening will include a gourmet dinner, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auctions, a raffle, photo booth, live entertainment, and dancing. Judson Center’s programs and client testimonials will be featured during the evening’s program. Attire is black tie optional and valet service is complimentary.
The gala’s planning committee co-chairs are members of Judson Center’s Board of Trustees: Janelle Morck, managing director at Hilb Group/CIA Insurance and Risk Management, and Olivia McLaughlin, executive director of the Troy Community Foundation.
