Deserves a safe and nurturing home where they can grow
Guided by the belief that every child deserves a safe, permanent, and loving family where they can grow up to be happy and productive members of their communities, Judson Center has been providing family focused services since 1924. In 2015, we joined forces with Child Safe Michigan to provide an even greater scope of services with the addition of mentoring and the expansion of foster care and adoption services and family preservation services.
Foster Care
Our foster care program provides support to biological parents, foster parents and the children in our care. Our goal is to minimize trauma and provide a nurturing, safe environment for a foster child.
Adoption
Approximately 3,000 children in Michigan’s foster care system are available for adoption at any given time. We work to find forever families for these children, and provide the support adoptive families need to thrive.
Mentoring
Judson Center's Child Safe Mentoring program connects youth with caring adult mentors who serve as friends, advocates, and supporters for their journey in foster care and beyond.
Family Preservation
We are committed to creating safe, stable environments for all children.
In addition to traditional adoption services, Judson Center provides an array of supportive services to help children find their forever families and to give families the support they need to thrive.
Judson Center’s Child Safe Michigan Program offers foster care, adoption and mentoring services in the metro Detroit area. At Judson Center we are proud to provide foster care resources and foster parent orientations in Wayne County, Macomb County, Oakland County, and Washtenaw County.
