About Judson Center

Over 100 Years of Service

Judson Center began in 1924 as the Detroit Baptist Children’s Home, an orphanage in Royal Oak. Today, we’ve grown to support 13,000 children, adults and families each year through an array of autism, integrated health, foster care and adoption, and disability services offered at locations in five counties – Oakland (including our original location in Royal Oak!), Wayne, Washtenaw, Macomb and Genesee.

Over the last century, Judson Center has proudly helped over 500,000 individuals. Our commitment to the community remains steadfast as we position ourselves for another 100 years of providing unwavering care to those we are privileged to serve.
