Donate to the Pantry or Wish Room

In addition to monetary donations, we also accept new items that help support those we serve. In-Kind donations should be new and donated by appointment only. Donation location is typically our Royal Oak site.

Our Care Pantry stocks many of the household and personal items our families need to thrive! Gernerous donors help us provide needed items like towels, bedding, cleaning supplies and hygiene products. We also operate a year-round Wish Room which helps our workers provide the extra items like holiday gifts, birthday gifts and seasonal clothing for their clients in need.

Shop our Amazon Wish List to have items shipped right to us!

Support a Seasonal Donation Drive

Holiday Wish Drive

Donors like you can help by hosting gift drives, shopping for children and adults, and even sponsoring whole families! Stay tuned for more details on how you can help share the care next holiday season!

Back to School Drive

Every summer, we collect new school supplies to help the youth in our care start the school year ready for success. Check back in spring for shopping lists and ways to give!

VOLUNTEER FAQ

You can volunteer as often or as little as you would like, depending on the volunteer position and current needs. We can work with you to find an opportunity that fits your schedule.

Depending on the position, an employee will be there during each volunteer shift to explain the task(s) of the position and guide your activity.

Not necessarily, although we love to match our volunteers with opportunities that use their skills, interests, or education.

Dependability and attendance are important to the operations and success of the services we provide. But, we also know that absences are an inevitable part of volunteering. We ask that you personally contact the individual that is expecting you at your shift to let them know that you cannot make it.

  • Nametags will be issued where appropriate.
  • Volunteers at events will be given directions on what to wear. It varies from casual to dressy based on the event.
  • If you are volunteering in the office, it is business casual.
  • If you are volunteering with children, or volunteering at a more casual event, a Judson Center t-shirt or casual dress code is acceptable. No cut off’s, tank tops or flip flops please.

There are limited opportunities ages 14-17, please inquire with the Volunteer Coordinator for the most up to date opportunities. These opportunities may require an adult chaperone, and most opportunities will not be volunteering with our clients.
